Day 1: Geneva - Montreux - Lausanne
On arrival at Geneva by air or train, set out on a sightseeing tour around the city besides taking a tour around the famous Geneva Lake. Visit the Old Town besides indulging in a novel shopping experience. Some of the most famous buildings in Geneva are the United Nations headquarters and the Red Cross/Red Crescent Museum that are must visit places. Later in the day, you can opt to visit the Olympic museum in Lausanne or the Nestle Food museum at Montreux. Another site to visit is the famous Chillon castle. Stay overnight in Geneva, Lausanne or Montreux.
Day 2: Geneva - Montreux - Lausanne
On the second day of the Swiss Honeymoon Tour, explore the region around Lake Geneva. Delight in the beauty of the picture perfect Alpine meadows and valleys around Geneva Lausanne and Montreux.
Day 3: Crans Montana - Leukerbad - Saas Fee - Zermatt
As part of the Swiss Honeymoon Tour, explore the region around Lake Geneva and the Matterhorn. Board a train to Valais and Rhone Plain from where you can travel to Crans Montana, Leukerbad, Saas-Fee or Zermatt. Stay overnight in the destination of your choice.
Day 4: Crans Montana - Leukerbad - Saas Fee - Zermatt
On day 4 of the Swiss Honeymoon Tour, visit the alpine slopes of the resort of your choice. Enjoy cable car rides besides trying your hand at some skiing. You can also visit a spa to pamper yourself like never before. Stay overnight at the destination of your choice.
Day 5: Interlaken
Travel to Interlaken, one of the most beautiful regions of Switzerland. On reaching Interlaken, visit Hoheweg – a posh avenue complete with cafes, hotels and stores selling designer jewelry and watches. You can also take a tour around Lake Brienz or Thun later during the day. Stay overnight in Interlaken.
Day 6: Interlaken - Jungfraujoch
Your Swiss Honeymoon Tour takes you to Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in Europe. On your way up, treat yourself to magnificent views of the Lauterbrunnen, Wengen and Kleine Scheidegg. Other interesting places to visit are the Sphinx Terraces and the Ice Palace. You can also see the 22 km long Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in Europe. Return for an overnight stay in Interlaken.
Day 7: Lucerne
Board the Brunig Express from Interlaken to Lucerne on day 6 of your Swiss Honeymoon Tour. On reaching Lucerne, visit some interesting sites like the Lion Monument, IMAX theatre or Swiss Transport Museum. Stay overnight in Lucerne.
Day 8: Lucerne - Mt. Pilatus
Indulge in a cruise on Lake Lucerne to Alpnachstad. Later, board the world’s steepest cogwheel railway line to Mt Pilatus. However, during winters, the railway line remains closed and visitors need to take a bus from Lucerne to Kriens and then a cable car up to the summit of Mt Pilatus. At the end of the day, you return to Lucerne for an overnight stay.
Day 9: End of Tour
