Day 01: Zurich - Schaffhausen (Rhine Fall) - Kreuzlingen – Appenzell
On the first day of the Switzerland Travel tour, travel from Zurich to Schaffhausen. Visit the magnificent Rhine Falls besides indulging in an afternoon drive along Bodensee that is located on the Germany-Austria border. Later in the day, arrive at Kreuzlingen where you can spend some time at leisure. Continue towards Appenzell where you stay overnight.
Day 02: Appenzell - Saentis - Vaduz - Heidiland - Chur - St. Moritz
Visit the Schwaegalp Pass where you can visit a local cheese factory. Drive through the picturesque Toggenburg region and Heidiland that is peppered with pretty farmhouses. Continue towards Chur and then cross Lenzerheide and the Julier Pass before arriving at a mountain resort in St. Moritz. Overnight stay would be at St. Moritz.
Day 03: St. Moritz
As part of the Switzerland Travel tour package, explore the attractions of St. Moritz. Return for an overnight stay at your hotel in St. Moritz.
Day 04: St. Moritz - Maloja Pass - Como (Italy) – Ascona
On day 4 of your tour, drive past the beautiful lakes of Silvaplana and Sils before arriving at the Maloja Pass. Enter Italy at Castasegna and go on to explore the scenic Breggaglia Valley. Drive past Chiavenna and tour Lake Como. Enter Switzerland again at Gandria and drive to Lugano from where you continue towards Ascona. Stay overnight at a hotel in Ascona.
Day 05: Ascona
Explore the beautiful Valley of Maggia and Verzasca along with the Isle of Brissago (Italy), Sasso Mountain and Locarno in course of the day. Return to your hotel in Ascona for an overnight stay.
Day 06: Ascona - Gotthard Pass - Brienz - Interlaken
On day 5 of the Switzerland Travel tour, drive through the St. Gotthard Pass and Furka Pass to Lake Thun. Later, tour the Brienz village before arriving at Interlaken sometime late in the afternoon. Stay overnight in Interlaken.
Day 07: Interlaken
Tour Interlaken and its scenic attractions during the day. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in the evening.
Day 08: Interlaken - Kandersteg - Zermatt
Drive to the picturesque village of Spiez and then to the mountain-resort of Kandersteg. Later, ride through the Loetschberg Tunnel to Valais before arriving at Taesch where you board a cogwheel train to Zermatt. Check in at a hotel before setting out on a sightseeing tour around Zermatt. Return for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Zermatt - Chillon - Montreux - Geneva
After a scrumptious breakfast, take a train to Taesch where you board a van. Drive through the Rhone River Valley, past the Chillon Castle before reaching the shores of Lake Geneva. After resting awhile, continue towards Montreux and then to Geneva. Enjoy a sightseeing tour around Geneva where you stay overnight.
Day 10: Geneva - Yverdon - Murten - Bern (City tour)- Lucerne (City tour)- Zurich
On the final day of the Switzerland Travel package tour, drive to Yverdon and then to Lake Neuchatel. Treat yourself to pretty sights of local farms and vineyards as you drive towards Murten, which is surrounded by the walls of an old castle. You also tour the city of Avenches with its intriguing Roman excavations. Later, drive to Bern where you indulge in a city tour before driving through Entlebuch to Lucerne. Visit the Lion Monument and the famous14th century wooden Chapel Bridge before driving back to Zurich where your tour ends.
